AS: I thought I would share this announcement about an opportunity for funded PhD research at the University of Exeter. The funding is to support a PhD student’s thesis research on the development of the imperial wireless network. I would imagine that this topic would attract the interest of some of my readers in Canada and Australia (this blog gets many readers with Australian and Canadian IP addresses). I would point out that doing a PhD in the UK is a relatively swift process and can be accomplished within the three-year time frame mentioned in this ad.
