Zotero bills itself as a powerful, easy-to-use research tool that allows academics to research, write, and cite with greater ease. I’m interested in what readers of this blog think of Zotero? How does it compare to EndNote and the equivalent products?

Count me in as a fan of Zotero, both because it’s easy to add a source that you find online as well as to share libraries with your students through the creation of a public library of selected items.
A public library for the students in a great idea!
I have never used EndNote but I can attest that Zotero is great. I have used it for about 2 years+ and am always finding new applications. The word processor plug-in alone is fantastic not to mention the search function as well as the ease of downloading citations.
I think Zotero is very good for humanities but is not web based. You should give WizFolio a try. WizFolio is a web 2.0 bibliographic management tool with Word 2003/2007 plugin that allows you to cite your citations. With WizAdd you can almost easily import anything off the internet in cite-able format using our powerful parsers. We will be releasing a citation tool for Google Docs and Open Office in June 2010. Will check it out.
